i'm ashwini, and i go by seashanthis online. i'm an artist and art student specializing in comic art, illustration, concept design, storyboarding, and graphic design...

this website is for me to document my art, some aspects of my life, and various things i find interesting.

• resident of turtle island on dakota/ojibwe land
• i use they, it, and she pronouns
• my blood type is o+ and i am a registered organ donor
• i enjoy drawing, writing, reading, playing video games, watching movies, cooking, and spending time in nature.
• i speak english and a little bit of spanish, understand some italian, and am learning telugu
• some things that i like are fish, bugs, marine fauna, trains, fungi, cold weather, and the color yellow.
• my favorite things to eat are fruit, seafood, spicy food, pasta, curry, biryani, and wat(a type of stew from ethiopia)
• my favorite films are fantastic mr. fox, inland empire, i saw the tv glow, the wolf house, paprika, hausu, his house, across the spider-verse, and donnie darko
• my favorite games are splatoon, pikmin, pokemon mystery dungeon, rhythm heaven, night in the woods, jet set radio, gens 4 and 5 pokemon, and tomodachi life.
• my favorite comic books are bone, o human star, vanni, the pervert, infidel, the less than epic adventures of tj and amal, scott pilgrim, essex county, persepolis, daytripper, jojo's bizarre adventure, ptsd radio, and gyo.
• my favorite musicians are gorillaz, danny brown, jpegmafia, 100 gecs, mf doom, a tribe called quest, lil b, femtanyl, denzel curry, car seat headrest, backxwash, hideki naganuma, lil ugly mane, chappell roan, injury reserve, steely dan, outkast, yves tumor, will wood, and weezer
